Happy Thanksgiving!

First off, Happy Thanksgiving! There are so many things I am grateful for and I think could go on forever thanking all in my life, past and present. All in all I am grateful for God giving me all that surrounds me: family, friends and all the other stuff. Now on to the real drama of my life. Now as some of you may know I have been training for the Houston Half-Marathon with the Woodlands Fit group. I have made some wonderful life-long friends along the way. With that said we are currently participating in the Montgomery County Triple, Trifecta, which mean three races in three days. YES and we have already done two. The first one was on Thanksgiving and 5 miles. Marcel did the race with me and it was tons of fun!

The second race was an adventure. It was in Conroe and we got lost. Yes none of us knew where the race was at, but we got there at exactly 7:55 and we still had to register. So we were the last three to register. So we did the 5k and GUESS WHAT! I received a first place medal for my age group. All three of us won medals! So tomorrow we will finish our trifecta.

So while I am supposed to be finishing my research paper I have been running and eating. I am trying to finish my paper but this whole running thing has been SOO much fun!

A lot on my mind...

So lately I have been super busy with many things on my mind. First off like I mentioned before I am a new Tia (Aunt) and have been pondering the idea of having a baby sometime. With that thought another thought/stressor/idea comes to mind, GRAD SCHOOL! Don't get me wrong I love school and enjoy what I am learning but quite frankly I feel like I need to hurry up and finish so that I can have my life back. I mean I want to be able to do as I wish when I wish and not have to be glued to my laptop typing papers or reading. I have kept straight As but at a high price, MY FREEDOM! I am such a procrastinator and with school I am so last minute that I rush and then feel bombarded with things to finish. With that thought comes, running. I have started to really enjoy running again. I like running outdoors without any music because it gives me time to be with me. I pray, think, and of course worry. Which then leads to another thought, see I said I had a lot on my mind, work. I love working and I love what I do but I am over it too. I have started to like the four year old boogers. They have made me want to have one too but then I think, how am I going to work educating children while my own kids are being watched by someone else. I don't think it's fair to them or me. Now the catch is...I have to work so we can pay off our bills and expenses and if I have to work than when will I have time for our own kids. Hmm so it's a catch 22, darned if I and darned if don't. So like I said before I have so much on my mind and with it all it makes me want to take a nap and wake-up whenever I can be a kid again. It was so much easier then. Oh which by the way brings another thought, ja, crafts. I want to run in to my little craft closet and craft for hours but when? With school and work I barely have time to be a wife like I want to. I guess I have to stick to my agenda and finish school ASAP then everything else will fall in to place, God willing of course. Gosh, I know God sends us challenges but this is a triathlon of some sort. Hey another thought, just kidding...Now may the drama continue!!

Update!

Well I have realized that I have little time to blog. So I will make this short and sweet. Since last blogging I have been a new AUNTIE! My niece is gorgeous and resembles her Tia almost identically. Her name is Isabel Belen and weighed 8lbs. 4oz. She is precious and can't wait to see her very soon. I also ran a 10 mile race. YES! I can't believe I have accomplished one of my many life goals, well almost one of my goals. I ran it under 2hours thank God. You can see pictures of that adventure on my other blog...Sidewalk Divas. Thank you to my Diva girlfriends for helping me get through it. As for my crafts, well I have many samples of new stuff. I completed an order of 9 notebooks and that was a success.
All in all I am BUSY BUSY BUSY! Work, grad school, wife, AUNTIE, crafter, runner and many more titles are keeping me very tied up. I will post new pictures as soon as I get to it....
